Emily is the Sustainability Manager Asia & Vietnam where she is responsible for the ESG agenda of De Heus in the region. She joined De Heus after completing University in the Netherlands in 2014. Emily has worked across various functions, including project management, M&A and strategic marketing. Through her work in various locations including Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Netherlands and Vietnam, Emily has gained practical insights into the agriculture value chain. 

In 2024, Emily was elected as Vice Chairwomen of the Food, Agri and Aqua Sector Committee under EuroCham.

The Royal De Heus Group is a global top 10 animal feed supplier with products available in 75 countries in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. De Heus entered Asia in 2008 through the acquisition of two existing animal feed mills in Binh Duong and Hai Phong (Vietnam). The company was one of the fastest growing companies (autonomous growth) during the past decade. In December 2021, De Heus acquired 100% of the shares of MNS Feed from Vietnamese Masan group with two strong local brands, Proconco and Anco, making it the largest animal feed supplier in the independent Vietnamese market. De Heus entered Myanmar in 2016 (currently operating 3 feed mills) and Indonesia in 2018 (currently operating 4 feed mills). After many years of exporting out of Vietnam, in 2022 De Heus officially inaugurated its first feed mill in Cambodia. In India, De Heus is present since 2017 and plans are in place to build a new state of the art feed mill in Punjab, North India in 2023.
